Train departure notification service

Finnish Transport Agency employs NSF Telecom's Call Server and train departure notification service in all routine passenger and freight rail traffic. At present this covers over a thousand daily departures. Trains are notified ready for departure with voice-guided interaction, from which notifications are formed and relayed as XML messages to the centralized traffic control system. The new notification solution represents a considerable savings potential for its orderer and fulfills the respective Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI). |
